We’re thrilled to share that Aurora Kripa, KenCrest’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) and incoming Chief Executive Officer (CEO), has been named a 2025 Corporate Leadership Honoree by the Philadelphia Business Journal!
This prestigious recognition celebrates C-suite executives across Greater Philadelphia who are making a significant impact in their organizations and communities. Aurora’s selection is a testament to her visionary leadership, operational excellence, and unwavering commitment to KenCrest’s mission.
Since joining KenCrest in 2019, Aurora has helped lead the organization through a period of rapid change. As the organization navigated the COVID-19 pandemic and a deepening workforce crisis, she helped drive efforts to stabilize operations and support staff. Her work contributed to evolving KenCrest’s services to be more inclusive and community-based, which in turn shaped programs that grew from the New Business Ideas initiative into lasting, impactful supports. Aurora’s leadership helped ensure that even in crisis, KenCrest could adapt with compassion and purpose.
In addition to her role at KenCrest, Aurora is an active member of Chief, a national network for executive women, and serves on the boards of Gemma Services, the Forum of Executive Women, and the Gemma Foundation. Her educational background includes degrees from Temple University, La Salle University, and the University of Pennsylvania, as well as certifications from Harvard and Northwestern Universities.

Aurora will officially step into the role of CEO of KenCrest this December, opening a new chapter as KenCrest celebrates our 120th year of leadership and innovation within our communities.
She will be honored at the Corporate Leadership Awards celebration on July 10th at The Downtown Club in Philadelphia and featured in a special edition of the Philadelphia Business Journal on July 11th.
Please join us in congratulating Aurora on this well-deserved honor. Her leadership continues to inspire all of us at KenCrest and beyond!
