KenCrest hosts events throughout the year for those we serve, our staff, and the public in the greater Philadelphia region. Sponsorships allow your business to align with KenCrest's mission and work within the community.

To learn more about sponsorship opportunities, please get in touch with Dawn Warden, Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations, at 610-825-9360 ext. 1123 or dawn.warden@kencrest.org.

Pennsylvania's Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC) is ideal for business owners and individual tax payers seeking a cost-effective partnership that has an immediate impact.

Mutually beneficial for both donor and recipient, EITC provides tax credits to eligible businesses contributing to one of the following programs: a scholarship organization, an educational improvement organization, and a pre-kindergarten scholarship organization (PKSO), such as KenCrest. Participation is free, and YOU determine what charity gets your tax dollars.

Contributions made to KenCrest through this program go directly to fund tuition assistance and scholarships for families who cannot afford the cost of a high-quality early learning center in their community and would like to attend one of our seven Philadelphia-based Early Learning Centers.

Individuals and retirees are also eligible to take advantage of this tax credit vehicle through a Special Purpose Entity (SPE).

To learn more about the EITC or SPE program at KenCrest, please get in touch with Dawn Warden, Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations, at 610-825-9360 ext. 1123 or dawn.warden@kencrest.org.

For more than 25 years, KenCrest has been a proponent and champion of employment for people with disabilities in the Southeastern Pennsylvania region. With KenCrest job coaches and staff support, people with an intellectual or developmental disability can successfully fulfill a company’s staffing needs through employment, apprenticeships/internships, job shadowing, and on-the-job assessments.

Over the years, we’ve developed strong employer partnerships with companies like Phoenixville Hospital, Shire Pharmaceutical, Giant Food Stores, WAWA, GlaxoSmithKline, Walmart, and Pottstown Memorial Medical Center name just a few.

There is a myriad of benefits to becoming a KenCrest employment partner:

  • Reduced recruitment costs: Providers like KenCrest can provide ongoing support to fill your employment gaps, and reduce your need for job fairs, social media ads, and recruitment activities.
  • Decreased training costs: Hires through Supported Employment typically have the support of coaching staff that can help provide any additional training and quality control, freeing up your team.
  • Increased employee retention: The average tenure among supported workers through KenCrest is seven years. We focus on matching participants to jobs that match their skill sets and passions.

Any company that wishes to know more about becoming an employer partner with KenCrest should contact Jessica Birkmire at jessica.birkmire@KenCrest.org or 215-429-6639.
