Services We Provide
- Habilitation Services: help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) learn and develop daily living skills to improve independence, enhance quality of life, support family caregivers, and foster community engagement.
- Companion Care: support the people we support with their daily activities.
- Respite Services: providing temporary care in place of a family member during times of need and provides a break for the people we support from specific skills or activities.
- Community Participation Opportunities: this enables people to explore different interests, hobbies, and activities within their communities that can lead to employment. These services are offered in a one-on-one setting.
- Specialized Skill Development and Community Support: for those 21 years old and older living with autism to navigate and participate in their community. This service is provided through the Adult Autism Waiver program.
Meaningful Day Community Participation Services
The Meaningful Day initiative helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) live fulfilling, inclusive lives by encouraging participation in hobbies, classes, events, and outings that match their interests. Whether it’s art classes, bowling, yoga, visiting local parks and museums, or other activities, our goal is to build a stronger community based on inclusion and personal growth.
We structure our Meaningful Day Program around three key areas:
For KenCrest Residential Participants
We offer personalized one-on-one or group experiences focused on community participation supports for residential clients. Each program is tailored to the individual’s interests and skill-building needs, such as money management, shopping skills, and making purchases in real-world settings.
Day Sharing Program
Our Day Sharing program brings together community members with shared interests to foster meaningful connections and lasting friendships.
Virtual Classes
KenCrest offers daily virtual classes for members who want to connect online. These interactive sessions teach new skills, explore hobbies, and create opportunities to meet new people, all while having fun!
