Money Management for People with Disabilities
Study Money
On May 18th, 2021, The Pennsylvania Assistive Technology Foundation (PATF) launched a new website called Study Money. Study Money is a money management learning platform designed for people with disabilities, their families, and support teams. It is user friendly, interactive, and covers a variety of topics including money fundamentals, budgeting, funding assistive technology, and much more! The topics correspond to PATF’s Cents and Sensibility guide.
There are a multitude of resources targeted to both learners and instructors. Digital badges can be earned for completing a topic and learners can enter a drawing to win a $200 deposit into a PA ABLE savings account. Instructions can be found on the Study Money website.
View the PATF website to learn more and to see all the resources they offer to support access to technology. For questions, feel free to reach out to the Enabling Technology department by emailing Julie Daly at Julie.Daly@KenCrest.org or Joe McGuire at Joseph.Mcguire@KenCrest.org.
