The countdown is on! On October 8-9th, advocates, self-advocates, families, providers, educators, business leaders, and community members from across the region will come together for the 2026 Disability Summit: Envisioning the Future of Disability Inclusion at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. The event is part of the Philadelphia 250 celebration and is expected to bring together more than 1,000 attendees for meaningful conversations about building a more inclusive future.
Hosted by Cities of Inclusion, an initiative of Special Olympics Pennsylvania, and EmpathyTech, the summit will focus on turning today's challenges into actionable solutions that help create communities where everyone belongs. Through interactive sessions, community dialogue, and a resource expo, attendees will have the opportunity to learn from disability advocates, civic leaders, healthcare professionals, educators, policymakers, and other changemakers.
With the event just weeks away, now is the perfect time to reserve your spot. Whether you're a professional in the disability field, a family member, a self-advocate, or simply someone passionate about creating stronger communities, the Disability Summit offers a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and be inspired.
