Celebrating KenCrest's 2025 Community Champions

KenCrest’s Community Champions event honored local heroes and partners supporting people with disabilities—celebrating community, inclusion, and impact.

By Sydney Zielinski (Kerelo)

On September 10, KenCrest celebrated Community Champions at Valley Forge Casino, honoring individuals, organizations, and partners who go above and beyond to support our mission. It truly takes an entire community to bring our work to life, and these Champions are leading the way. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event a success!

This year’s Community Champions event was made even more meaningful as it took place during KenCrest’s 120th anniversary—a milestone that celebrates over a century of impact, inclusion, and possibility. As part of this special evening, we had the honor of recognizing our Honorable Mentions, individuals and organizations who may not seek the spotlight but whose contributions have left a lasting mark on the KenCrest community.

These Honorable Mentions embody the spirit of service, generosity, and commitment. They share their time, talents, and resources in ways that uplift the people and families we support, helping us move closer to a world where everyone can live their best life. Their actions—whether big or small—demonstrate the extraordinary power of community coming together for a common purpose.

We are deeply grateful for the many ways these partners strengthen our mission every day. Their dedication reminds us that progress doesn’t happen alone—it takes countless Champions, each playing a vital role in shaping brighter futures. Recognizing their contributions during our 120th anniversary year made the celebration all the more special, setting the stage for announcing this year’s Community Champion award winners, whose extraordinary impact inspires us all.
