Employment Services

KenCrest EmployNet offers work options to meet your interests and needs either in the community or in our facilities. Whether you are a student or an adult needing to begin your career, you will receive comprehensive support for a successful work experience.

Alternative Services prepares you for employment by providing opportunties to volunteer with local organizations and visit local companies and businesses. You will receive transportation, skill instruction, and support as you learn about different types of work and work environments.

In Supported Employment, our professional staff match you with desirable openings in local businesses. Working one-on-one with a KenCrest coach, you will receive training in job skills, public transportation, and social skills.

At our Work Activity Center in Pottstown you can work on projects contracted to KenCrest. While doing these projects, you will also learn new skills for employment.

For people with intensive physical and medical needs, the Adult Training Center offers support and opportunity to participate in work projects and to experience community more fully.

At KenCrest’s Seeds of Purpose store in Pottstown you will learn horticulture, gardening, social skills, how to help run a store, and other work skills.

Current Service Areas: Berks, Chester, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.
