Community grows best when it’s nurtured with care — and at Tine and Toil Farm, that care is woven into everything they do. Led by Nathan and his dedicated team, the farm has become more than a place to grow food; it’s a place where relationships, purpose, and belonging take root.
Through their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, Tine and Toil provides members with fresh, organically grown produce that brings nourishment to tables across the region. Whether picked up at the farm, delivered to homes, or harvested by hand, every box of produce represents more than good food — it represents connection.
For years, individuals supported through KenCrest’s Community Participation Services have volunteered alongside the Tine and Toil team, helping prepare and deliver CSA shares throughout the community. These experiences give volunteers opportunities to build skills, confidence, and friendships while contributing to something bigger than themselves.
What makes Nathan and Tine and Toil Farm truly special is their spirit of inclusion. They welcome everyone with open arms — offering patience, compassion, and genuine appreciation for each person’s abilities. Together, we’re cultivating a partnership that embodies KenCrest’s mission: creating communities where everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, and shine.
We proudly celebrate them for all they do to make our communities stronger, more inclusive, and full of possibility.
