KenCrest offers several areas of service for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the state of Connecticut. We provide the services listed below in Fairfield and New Haven counties.
Community Living in Connecticut
KenCrest’s Adult Community Living Homes allow each person to live in the community of their choice with the support services they request or require. Residents can also access the activities, employment, friends, and family they desire. Each KenCrest community living home is as unique as the people living there. All of our homes lead the industry in support services and quality, meeting all state licensing requirements. They are located in a variety of safe, centrally located neighborhoods for the most ideal access to the community.
Visit our Community Living Arrangement page on our website for more detailed information.
Community Participation
Our Community Participation Services enable people to explore interests, hobbies, and activities in their communities that may help lead them to employment opportunities. We offer these services in a one-on-one setting.
Employment
KenCrest has worked in Connecticut communities to build employer partnerships, identify existing paid employment opportunities, and create new, customized paid positions.
In-home Supports
We offer In-home Support Services to aid people in learning and acquiring daily living skills (such as cooking, shopping, computer skills, and personal care) that improve the quality of their life, support their family unit, and help them to become more involved members of their community. We may accompany them in the community for activities or errands, provide respite for the family from having to care for their loved one, or provide a break for the supported person from working on a particular skill or activity to just enjoy some down time.
For more information on any of these services, please contact us at 203-375-3762, ext. 2305.
