Time to Celebrate!

This year, our staff recognition event will include something old and something new. In keeping with tradition, we will present the Sister Grace award. This award, the highest recognition in the agency, is named after the Lutheran deaconess who led KenCrest through some of our most important decisions. If you ask anyone who knew her, she was tough, undaunted, and relentless in her pursuit of what was right for the organization and for the people we support. We will also recognize some of our staff for their years of service. Over 25 staff will be honored for working at KenCrest for 30 years or more.

We get feedback each year on the awards and we have used that feedback to make some very exciting changes.
So, what’s new?

The Siebott-Hibbard award: this award builds on something we have given in the past, the Siebott award. Now honoring the work of both Marylyn Siebott and Rod Hibbard, the award recognizes an employee who continuously supports their colleagues, advocates for all staff working at KenCrest, and holds deep devotion to their colleagues and coworkers.
The William Nolan Advocacy Award: this award was established to keep us mindful of the importance of advancing public policies. The award will be given to a team or individual who has made a difference by advocating for the needs and hopes of our clients.

Also new, we have created the PRIDE awards. These awards recognize the values which we embrace at KenCrest. Each of our departments and programs have selected individuals who reflect those values in their everyday work. And from those winners, we will be selecting a person whose work last year best embodies what is important to our work.

Positive Approaches
Reaching Higher

It is hard to think of enough ways to say thank you for the work that our staff does every day. Whether you are the face of KenCrest to the people we support, or one of the people behind the scenes who backs them up, we rely on these dedicated individuals to help us do our best for the 11,000+ people we support. We are expecting a great turnout!

The staff event is on Wednesday, May 10, with a reception from 5pm-6:30pm, followed by an awards program. It is at Presidential Caterers, 2910 DeKalb Pike in Norristown, PA 19401

We are still taking RSVPS for this event- if you would like to attend you can send your name and department to Eileen Falchetta at or RSVP online by clicking here.
