KenCrest’s Annual Staff Event
KenCrest held a special celebration for our staff on Thursday, May 10 at the Double Tree Hotel in King of Prussia, PA.. The annual event, which was themed after the Oscars and called the Kennys, provided over 325 employees the opportunity to dress to impress as well as recognize, and celebrate exceptional staff contributions and longevity within the agency. The William Nolan Advocacy Award (for advocacy for the community, clients and their families) recipient is Mary Doughty, the Director of our Northeast Philadelphia Early Childhood Center, the Siebott/Hibbard Award (in memory of Marilyn Siebott and Rod Hibbard, two beloved past leaders who championed staff support, achievement and career development) recipient is Kelly Sesay, Quality Manager. The Sister Grace Jones Award; which is the highest award created in memory of Sister Grace Jones, the longest tenured executive director who did not take “No” for an answer when it came to dedication and service, recipient is Melanie Brennan, Director of KenCrest’s Early Learning programs.
Recipients of the PRIDE (Positive Approaches at Work, Reaching Higher, Inclusion, Discovery, Excellence in Leadership) Awards are; Debbie Bauer of Montgomery County Supported Employment, Senquetta Ancrum-Patterson of our North Philadelphia Early Learning Center, Mary Peifer-Kulp of Home and Community Services, Mike Luce of Connecticut Community Living, and Stanley Carr of our Training Department.
