Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC)

For business owners seeking a cost-effective and impactful partnership, Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit program (EITC) is ideal.

PNC Little LibraryMutually beneficial for both donor and recipient, EITC provides tax credits to eligible businesses contributing to one of the following programs: a scholarship organization, an educational improvement organization, and/or a pre-kindergarten scholarship organization (PKSO), such as KenCrest. Participation is free and YOU determine what charity gets your tax dollars.

Contributions made to KenCrest through this program go directly to fund tuition assistance and scholarships for families who are unable to afford the cost of a high-quality early learning center in their community and would like to attend one of our seven Philadelphia-based Early Learning Centers.

Individuals and retirees are also eligible to take advantage of this tax credit vehicle through a Special Purpose Entity (SPE).
