Change is good…
Change is bad…
I think that change is all of the above. It certainly can be disruptive but often leads to new and wonderful things.
As we all have gone through stages in our own lives we might have preferred to stay in one of those stages because it was safe or comfortable. We had to move on, though because…well, because nothing is static.
The KenCrest world continues to change too. New service models, new service definitions, changes in our regulatory environment , modifications in Medicaid and other funding sources and the many other pushes and pulls that affect KenCrest are not forces that we can ignore.
Understanding those forces, working with them and attempting to mold them will move us into the future positioned to serve people better and make KenCrest an even better place to do your life’s work.
One thing I hope doesn’t change is your commitment, passion and caring for the many children, adults and families that we serve.
What each of you does at KenCrest is important and helps to further our mission. Thank you!
