Seeds Of Purpose
Located in Pottstown, PA, the Seeds of Purpose program blends horticultural therapy with training in gardening including planting, nurturing, and harvesting.
We have a beautiful greenhouse, raised gardens, and a retail store all on site. Participants learn about retail and horticultural practices, customer service, and a variety of other skills.
Adult Day Program Electives
KenCrest currently has two community participation adult day program creative electives: KenCrest Creations and ArtWorks.
The KenCrest Creations elective offers participants an opportunity to work on creative activities, many of which use items provided by the Seeds of Purpose horticultural program, to produce crafts and gift items. These items are sold exclusively at local events.
The Art Works program at KenCrest is a creative program providing participants with an opportunity to create a variety of art projects under the guidance of a professional art instructor. Each artist directly receives all proceeds from the sale of their art, which KenCrest promotes and sells for them. Art Works is a private-pay program.
