Community Participation Day Programs

Community Participation Day Programs

Day Programming for Adults with DisabilitiesKenCrest currently offers robust and varies community participation day programming at locations in Pottstown, Wyncote and Frazer, PA.  Starting in 2019 two new, state-of-the-art physical locations will replace the current single Frazer location – more details will be shared as they become available!

These programs provide a combination of:

  • Community Participation Activities
  • Contract Work
  • Daily Living Activities
  • Engagement Activities
  • Leisure Activities

Participation in these programs focus on enabling a participant to do what they most enjoy and be encouraged to explore and trying new activities, like art, yoga, paper making, etc.

Alternative programming is just that, an alternative choice to which provides small groups of participants with work oriented activities in a community-based setting. It is ideal for individuals who enjoy activity within a structured program setting, and it is outcome based and provides a variety of options with new and exciting activities to choose form based on individual preferences.

KenCrest actively pursues grant funding as well as other alternative funding streams. This allows KenCrest to be able to provide a greater number of innovative and creative “out of the box” employment opportunities that are otherwise not funded by traditional sources.
