The values of an organization are often printed somewhere, but they are not always easy to remember. Even more important, they are not always followed. Values by definition are the highest aspiration for what we believe about people. Within a company, they are written to provide an affirmation about how we need to think and behave toward everyone… our co workers, clients, and funders.
I read ours, and I spent some time trying to create something I could remember. I met with a small team yesterday, and we made this list and word to remember them. PRIDE Here goes…At KenCrest….
P…positive approaches everyday
R..reach higher
I..inclusion rules
D…dig deeper
E…exemplary leadership
For the next 5 blogs, I will pick one of these values(not in order of letter) . And I will talk about that. I want to hear from you also. How does this match your values, or not? How do we carry this out in our work? What can we do better if these are really our values. How can we check our behavior against this list?
